JOE GIBSON, Northridge High School (2007)

Participated for the Raiders in football, wrestling and track and field.

Three years on the football team, one as Most Valuable Player. Mental Attitude award, All-Northern Lakes Conference twice and Honorable Mention All-State.

Wrestled four years, twice being team’s Most Valuable. NLC, Sectional and Regional champion twice each and Semi-state Runner-up twice. Sixth in State finals twice.

Conference champion in three events for track and field. School records in 100-meter dash and 200-meters.

Received the wrestling Rollie Hoover Award in 2007. WTRC student “Athlete of the Year” in 2007. Crystal Valley Exchange Club “Athlete of the Year” for 2007.
