* Earned 4 varsity letters in baseball. Three-time team Most Valuable Player and All-Northern State Conference (1991-93); first team All-State (1993); North-South All-Star selection; graduated as second all-time state leader in doubles

* Earned 3 varsity letters in football. Helped lead Jimtown to 1991 IHSAA Class 2A State championship; 1993 North All-Star selection; graduated with single-season record for interceptions (11) in 1992

* Earned 4 varsity letters at Western Michigan University. Two-time team MVP, two-time All-Mid-American Conference selection

Professional Career:

* Played minor league baseball with Canton Crocodiles of the Frontier League (1997); Winnipeg Goldeyes (1999) and named MVP of the Northern League; agreed to minor league contract with Chicago Cubs (2000); played with Team USA World Cup Games squad in 2003
