Jill (Troyer) Miller

JILL (TROYER) MILLER, BETHANY CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL, 1989

Jill won three varsity basketball letters at Bethany, setting school records for most points in a game (46) in 1987-88; most points in a season (477), 1987-88, and most points in a career (1,188). She also has the record for most free throws in a season (95) and career (255). Jill hit 78% of her free throws for one season and 74% in her career. She also hauled in 472 rebounds, third all-time at Bethany. She scored 30 points or more eight times. Bethany had identical 16-3 records in her junior and senior seasons. Jill was selected to The Elkhart Truth All-Area Team in 1988 and was named to the South Bend Tribune Sunburst Classic All-Area All Star Team the following year. At Hesston College, in two seasons, she set scoring (905 points), rebound 501) and assist (258) records. She also set the Hesston mark of 41 points in a single game and was selected NSCAA ALL-American.
