JOHN BEEHLER, Concord High School, 1967

Lettered in football all four years at CHS and also participated in track and baseball all four years. Set school rushing record and played offensive back and defensive tackle. Earned Most Valuable Back award as senior and first Concord football player named to SB Tribune all-area first team. At North Central College, Naperville, Ill., played football all four years and broke the school rushing record. Was co-captain and Most Valuable Backhis senior season; named to “Outstanding College Athletes” in 1969 and 1971. John earned his MA from Northern Illinois University.
