  • Elkhart County’s only three-time basketball scoring champion
  • Scored 272 points as a freshman, 346 as a junior and 327 as a senior
  • Set GHS career scoring record of 1,174 points which stood until 1958
  • Competed in track and field and was a football cheerleader at GHS
  • Played varsity basketball at Northwestern University
