• Played basketball at and graduated from University of Notre Dame
• Played basketball professionally two seasons with the Chicago Gears and one season with the Chicago Stags
• Coached five seasons in Beloit (Wis.), one season at SB Jefferson Junior High, 12 seasons at SB Adams High School, six seasons at SB LaSalle High School
