Football, earned 3 varsity letters – Co-Captain, Co-MVP on Redskins’ 1978 IHSAA state football championship team; 1st team Associated Press on offense & defense, 1st team All-United Press International and Bloomington Herald-Telephone, 1st team All-Northern Lakes Conference, 1978; team’s leading tackler.

Baseball, earned 3 varsity letters – 1st team All-NLC in 1977 and ’78; team’s leading hitter, 1977 and ’78.
